What this is

BVI Clear (www.bviclear.com) is a private helper operated by Colin Rathbun, Tortola, British Virgin Islands. Contact: colin@tortolaexpress.com.

It is not a government website. It is not bviedcard.gov.vg. It is not legal, immigration, or customs advice. Filing the official ED card stays on the government site.

You must accept these terms

You must agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy after you sign in, before you use the helper.

If we publish a new version, we may ask you to accept again. The version date is on this page.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for entering accurate data and for the official filing. Check every field on the government site before it is submitted.

You are responsible for who may travel on your account and for any companions you add.

Do not upload someone else's passport or personal data unless they asked you to file for them.

Permission you grant us

You grant us permission to store your traveler and trip answers so the helper can work.

You grant us permission to send passport bio-page images to an LLM (OpenRouter, currently Google Gemini) when you use that feature, so we can prefill fields.

You grant us permission to fill bviedcard.gov.vg with your data when you tap Fill. That is done on your instruction. We do not operate the government site.

Paid plans later

We may introduce paid plans later. Current access can change. There is no payment processor today, and we are not promising that BVI Clear will stay free.

Acceptable use

Use the helper for your own lawful ED card filings, or filings you are allowed to make for people traveling with you.

Do not impersonate the Government of the Virgin Islands or bviedcard.gov.vg. Do not present BVI Clear as an official site.

Do not try to break the helper, scrape it, or use it to attack the official form. Do not store data you have no right to store.

No warranty

The helper is provided as-is. Forms, bots, models, and government sites fail sometimes. We do not promise a successful filing, a correct prefills from a passport photo, or uninterrupted access.

The official form and the rules around it belong to the government site, not to us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law of the British Virgin Islands allows, we are not liable for missed flights, refused entry, wrong filings, model mistakes, downtime, or data issues beyond a reasonable effort to delete or correct what we store when you ask.

If a court will not allow that limit, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the helper in the three months before the claim — which is zero until we charge.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the British Virgin Islands. If we have to pick a venue, it is the courts in Tortola, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
